I had a wonderful experience at Himalaya Phoenix Saigon. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hostel was kept clean and tidy every day. the location was perfect - nestled in a quiet alley but still close to the bustling activity of Bui Vien. the breakfast options were fantastic, with a choice of eight delicious meals that felt almost made to order. it was a great stay with excellent service, amenities, and a convenient location. Cons: None 🚫.

Great location, close to bus station and many restaurants nearby. the staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with a small city map and recommending things to do based on our interests. the rooms were nice with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. the breakfasts were delicious.
No windows in the rooms, which made them feel a bit stuffy.

We had an amazing stay at Himalaya Phoenix Saigon. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our check, in and check, out a breeze. the location was perfect, with easy access to the market and only a short walk to the backpacker area. the room was quiet and comfortable, with a large fridge and free WiFi that worked perfectly. the free breakfast was delicious and we loved having access to a computer and printer in the lobby.
Despite the majority of good reviews, we were unfortunate enough to encounter these vicious pests.

As vegetarians and vegans, we loved the fact that the hostel had a kitchen downstairs where we could prepare our own meals. It was convenient and saved us money.
Felt very special, no complaint.

The rooms were nice and well-maintained. The location was great, close to the bus station and there were many restaurants nearby. I also found the staff to be really helpful in providing information about the area.
There were a few downsides to my stay. the staff seemed quite busy with their smartphones, which made it difficult to get their attention at times.

the lady at the front desk provided me with a map of the city and recommended must, see buildings and markets. This allowed me to have a great day exploring the city. the location of the hostel was very convenient with a nearby bus terminal and stops for the airport bus. Despite the busy area, my room was surprisingly quiet, providing a comfortable and peaceful stay.
The breakfast could be improved with a wider selection of local Vietnamese options. the ensuite bathroom in the dorm room could get busy if all six occupants needed to use it at the same time.

Felt snug, but the staff made sure everything was taken care of.

The staff were absolutely incredible, going above and beyond to make our stay mind-blowingly amazing. The rooms were clean and spacious, with jaw-droppingly hot showers and great water pressure. The location was super convenient, within walking distance to tons of restaurants, bars, and tourist hotspots. The breakfast was delicious, with fried eggs, a huge crusty roll, and refreshing Vietnamese coffee. The young girl working there was a superstar, making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended for a welcoming and unforgettable stay.

The cleanliness of the hostel was top-notch, which was a major plus for me. the staff were also very friendly and helpful, making my stay more enjoyable. the location of the hostel was convenient, close to restaurants and markets, making it easy to explore the city.
The hostel had a bit of an old-fashioned vibe and the elevator was not on the ground floor, which was inconvenient at times. the lack of a sign on the main street made it difficult to find the hostel.
